Caldecott Challenge
This year in library take the Caldecott Challenge with your classmates. Just read a Caldecott book then blog about it on our library webpage. Your class could win a pizza party. The class that has the most books read wins. Winning partipants must have read and blogged about one book as a minimum. Help your class win!
Take the Caldecott Challenge
The Caldecott Medal was named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.

Blog about your Calecott book. Include the following in your blog.
1. Your name and class
2. Title of your Caldecott book
3. Illustrator
4. Copyright Date
5. Five sentences about the book. Please include comments/opinions about the art in the book. Do you like the decisions the illustrator made when creating those illustrations? Why did you like them or not like them? Do the illustrations help "tell the story?"
